On a Health coverage (ACA) policy that is not signed yet, the member's signature is the sale. The moment they sign, QualityQuotes marks the policy Sold on its own, even if nobody has the member open in the CRM. There is no separate sale step to click.
Life: the Application Summary, not a signature
Life policies do not use an e-sign document. The carrier takes the application signature in its own portal, so QualityQuotes sends the member an Application Summary instead: a PDF of what they applied for, with no signature. Send summary and mark sold on the policy card sends it and moves the policy to Sold in one step. See Client packets and the Application Summary.
Medicare and Supplemental
On these policies our document is not the sale. For Medicare it confirms an enrollment that is already done. Supplemental works the same way.
Once the application is submitted, open the policy and choose Record submission. You can send the document before or after that. Signing it never changes the stage, and a policy without a signature is not flagged.
Before you send
The policy card says what the consent document still needs. That list comes from the document your agency mapped for the product line, so it matches what will print. Fields the document prints carry an e-sign chip on the policy form.
Save and send for signature saves the policy even when some of those fields are empty, then opens the send dialog. Anything still missing is listed there for you to type, and what you type is saved back to the policy. Values already on the policy are read from it, so you do not retype the face amount or the beneficiary at send.

While you wait
The eSign card shows delivery, viewed time, expiry, and per signer field progress. A live indicator means the status stream is connected. If the stream is down, the card still refreshes on a short poll for open requests only.
After they sign
The policy moves to Sold and a confirmation appears. From there back office submits it to the carrier, follows verification, and puts it in force. Agents keep seeing it as Sold; back office and owners see each of those steps. The signed PDF and certificate of completion appear on the policy documents list. Agents cannot delete those files.
